Happy New Year!
Taking a Look Back at 2025
Yearly roundup
Hey all!
A new year is here and I thought I would send out a little recap of what I did this year and also to thank you all for following along.
We did it!
I was so excited to finally wrap up work on the Kids Comics Anthology! After nearly 2 years of hard work, we got our book printed and published! It was so exciting!
If you missed out on the kickstarter, it’s available on Amazon as a print on demand book OR for you Kindle.
I am going to be checking in with my local library, as well as the local elementary school, to see if I can get some copies to them. I would love to see the book reach as many readers as possible.
I also did some illustrations for a book by David Horn called DysTopia.
It’s a story about a girl named Hero, who is inside of a story being written by an author in the real world. What? Calamity ensues as Hero tries to take control of her story.
I started a Patreon
There’s a free tier, of course, which will get you access to some artwork early, and then there are the paid tiers which gets you access to in progress work, downloads, and stickers! I posted a full zine there as well, all about the show Grand Designs.
It’s one of my favorite relaxing shows to put on when there’s nothing else on, or you just need something in the background. It’s low stakes and the host is easy to listen to, and often hilarious. (though not always intentionally)
I have also posted a few comics there that you won’t see anywhere else for awhile, so, please check it out!

One of the stickers I offered in the most recent Sticker Club Pack. ❤️ Derpy.
Oops All Zines is back for 2026
The Cartoonist Co-Op is hosting it’s NIF event again and I will be in the digital zine. This year’s theme was “Eureka.” I am excited to see what everyone makes!
I attended the SCBWI North and East Bay in person conference
It was a great way to reconnect with some friends, and fellow KCU members. I also got some great feedback on my work and attended some really cool talks.

I also participated in DVPit. While my story didn’t get any traction, it was a good exercise to see if I could distill my ideas down to an elevator pitch.
That’s it for now.
Have a great start to your new year, folks, and stayed tuned for more cool stuff from me!
